³² But ·both wheat crops [^Lthe wheat and the spelt] ripen later, so they were not ·destroyed [ruined].

³³ Moses left ·the king [^LPharaoh] and went outside the city. He ·raised [^Lspread] his hands to the Lord, and the thunder and hail ·stopped [^Lceased]. The rain ·also stopped falling to [^Lno longer poured on] the ground. ³⁴ When ·the king [^LPharaoh] saw that the rain, hail, and thunder had ·stopped [^Lceased], he sinned again, and he and his officers ·became stubborn [^Lhardened their hearts].
